The Plaza Theatre - Reserva de mesa

Hadn 't been to the Plaza since before the renovations. Came by a couple weeks ago to watch The Holdovers and enjoyed the new look and ambience. I 'm glad this venue survived the pandemic as small theatres have such a cozy feel and give you a chance to catch releases you may have missed during their initial release date (watched the movie long after its November release). Also wanted to make a special mention of staff member, Patrick, who was super helpful and understanding when my partner felt unwell in the middle of the movie.

Honestly nice niche old theater. Now just be aware it is old, so no cupholders, seats are also not like the Cineplex relcline types. Movies are usually more I would say artsy. So you kind of get the vibe. Popcorn is not close to the size of what you will get in other theater. It knows it's customer base, so for them it's good. For others not so much.

The Plaza Theatre not only transports you to other worlds with amazing films, it does it in an amazing theatre from yesteryear. The prices are affordable for families and seniors and the staff actually are excited to see you there. Popcorn is always fresh. If you haven't been there for a while or if it's your first time, treat yourself and enjoy!

Always one of my faves and so glad they made it through Covid and reopened. I hadn’t been here for a while so just saw the new renoit is awesome! Love the cocktail bar we all enjoyed our drinks and hanging out before the movie. Also, there is a great selection of films that you often can’t find elsewhere. Go! Love this establishment, it has always been my favourite place in the city! Although, last year they acknowledged black history month and had showings of blaxploitation movies and this year they haven’t announced anythingmakes me kind of sad. That being said, this is still a 10/10

So the prices for snacks are a bit crazy but ticket prices are so much less expensive than the big theater names. The atmosphere is great and you will have a chance to see films that are unique and worth seeing. This place has history and should be treasured.

This theatre rules! All the usual theatre fixins' as well as beer, donuts and other goodies! They screen mainstream and obscure films; a total neighborhood gem!
