For the appetizer, we ordered the salt and pepper calamari. It was well-cooked, though it lacked seasoning, similar to the main dishes. Fortunately, they provided salt and pepper on the table, allowing us to season to our liking—which we preferred, as everyone’s taste differs.
For the main course, I chose the slow-cooked blade steak served with potato mash, mushrooms, peas, and red wine sauce. It was fantastic—delicious classic flavors that I could enjoy weekly without becoming tired of it. The steak was juicy and tender. The other main we shared was the seafood linguine, which was a bit of a mixed bag. It was generous with the seafood, but some of the fish and prawns felt a bit overcooked...
