I had a disappointing experience at Powder Keg on Christmas Eve. The service staff were pleasant and asked the right questions, but that's where the positives ended. It took 35 minutes to receive a drink, which ended up being a $42 martini and an average glass of Prosecco. The glass of water was forgotten altogether. We decided not to wait to order food as it would have been too much of a stretch.
The powder keg was a lovely dining experience. My boyfriend and I chose the restaurant due to the extensive gin list- this did not disappoint. On top of this the service was outstanding and our waiter was lovely. As a vegetarian I was also very happy with the food I could have-there was enough choice to keep me very happy!
Great friendly service, the chef served us the food and explained each of the elements, the cocktails were incredible, the room felt very comfortable with the lighting perfect after a long day in a bright office. The table we were sat at was very comfortable we stayed from 7 pm through to 12 pm!
