We visited for breakfast after a hard run of 10k. Generally our friends rate the Eye Opener as a really good place for breakfast, but I was not so impressed. The decor is 50's - 60's diner with lovely red seats and a checkerboard floor. We had the two eggs plus kobasa and the two eggs with ham. Skip the ham. Shoe leather would have been more palatable! The kobasa was good enough, but the ham was so tough you could barely cut it with a knife. A fork would not go into it. Dry and structurally sound would be my description of the ham. The eggs were really good, but skip the ham!

What a great little hidden gem!!! Drove by this place for years and never stopped in. Finally went for brunch and I can honestly say it was the best I ever had. The portions were generous, service was excellent, and the decor retro. The fresh exotic fruits served as a side were flavourful and and pleasant surprise. I had the seafood Benedict ($15 and only available on weekends) and my mouth is still watering just thinking about it.If you don't live in the area, make the drive. You won't be disappointed!!!Love this place and will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times, and we have never been disappointed. The service is always good and the food is perfect! It is obvious that they put a lot of effort into making homemade items, especially their jams and jellies. I also love the atmosphere and look of the diner! Definitely worth checking out if in the area!

Our cousin was in town so my bro & I took him to the Red Eye Diner, from a recommendation. We were impressed to say the least, the service was great and the food was very good. I would love to take rookie wait staff and have them just shadow the girls that work there. Reserva una mesa ahora

Nice atmosphere, great look inside, service was fantastic and reasonable prices. Food we had was pretty average fare; all dishes underseasoned and fairly bland. Not sure I've ever had deep fried potato pancakes before. A nice visit but no need to rush back.

Now called the Red Eye Diner. Small restaurant near the north edge of the city by the perimeter. Friendly service, easy parking and delicious food. Yummy varieties of homemade jams. Daily specials.

Looking for a quick stop for family while attending a memorial service. Not much to look at from outside but delicious food, great service, old style diner decor. Def worth a stop!

Charming atmosphere & delicious food & excellent food quality and presentation; these folks know how to run a restaurant that's a cut above the rest. Reserva una mesa ahora
