The ship inn is amazing! It's a usual visit when we're in bowness with a lovely building that looks over the lake itself with a lovely outdoor seating area that has amazing views! The restaurant is comfortable serving more traditional pub food but there's something for everyone! Our party had fish and chips, burgers and a vegan burger which was all amazing quality and portion size and reasonable priced. They have a decent bar with everything you need for a pint while you have some dinner! We noticed they also have the sport and football on so it's definitely an option if you're visiting while the footy is on, great place all in all
The restaurant was bustling with lively patrons enjoying drinks and meals. It had a warm atmosphere, with a pleasant buzz throughout, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Although we primarily wanted to enjoy some drinks, we decided to order a sharing plate as well. We were seated by a window with a lovely view of the lake, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this place. The food deserves a 5-star rating and arrived in about 20 minutes after we placed our order. A pint of lager was around £6, and the sharing plate cost £17, which felt appropriate for the location.
In the late afternoon, we enjoyed the sunshine here. The bar offered a wide variety of drinks, and the food was quite nice when we decided to dine. Although the menu was limited, the servers were polite and attentive. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
