A lovely place for a Sunday Roast. Fantastic service, very friendly and accommodating staff. We ate here today whilst visiting the Isle of Wight. In our party was 2 adults, 4 children and a dog. We initially sat outside but the lovely ladies behind the...bar said we were more than welcome to sit inside with the dog. Our food was served very promptly and was very well presented and it was beautiful. Even the children said what a “lush” roast dinner it was. Would definitely recommend and if we visit the Island again we will most defiantly return. Thank you so much

the solent gas house for the second time booked within a month, the food and the service was simply better. I couldn't owe the Sunday roast absolutely fantastic. large part of meat and vegetables. service was fast and eat red hot. a must if they enjoy a large plate of eating.

to foot, had a few playing Hungarian folk music followed by bawdy 70s ballads on violin and gitarre, while the whole pub worked together. happy vibes! beautiful, clean lines, a few beautiful gins and a sweet beer garden.

Excellent food! Portions were fabulous, all food was freshly prepared and beautifully presented! Staff very friendly nothing too much made to feel very welcome! Will definitely be returning!

one of the best Sunday dinners we've ever had. if they are in ryde, they must visit. fantastic choice of meat, friendly friendly staff and a great atmosphere
