We had a work function here and had a table of 12 booked then due to work commitments 2 couldn’t come then two got sick. The policy apparently is a 48 change of seating policy and inside that you have to pay for the people...that didn’t turn up. So an extra $100 was paid by our group however they didn’t give us the extra food. 2 people had to ask what the deal was with charging but not providing the food. Eventually they agreed to give it as takeaway. The photo is a serving for 8 people!! Really disappointing as the set menu is $50 per person then paying extra $100 and not being offered the food. The food was OK. Had much better Italian food at other places. Will not be going here again.
Waste of money! WASTE OF TIME Customer service was absolute dog ****. Surprisingly the one with the “ABSOLUTE dog ****” customer service was the manager (blonde hair lady)! I came in happy looking to experience a good decent meal with my partner. But had to deal with this bad energy from that lady, and she was putting off a lot of customers... Like do you really have to be that much of a gronk to nice people, has literally just began. We had a nice dinner, very interesting cocktail to start, the food was okay, nothing special, spaghetti Bolognese was fine, the gnocchi was a bit strong on the basil, the barramundi was a little overcooked, the service was good, it has quite a nice position...and airy. The tiramisu was very nice. It is the most detailed email I have ever received about a restaurant booking, about all the steps, for customers to follow, which is okay, especially about Covid rules, except that none of the wait staff wear their masks properly. Visited The Spaghetti House for my daughters 17th birthday with family and friends. The restaurant accommodated is perfectly and was extremely fast taking our drink and entree orders. The food was delivered out to us very fast followed by our mains. The wait staff were...great in remembering everyone’s drink orders to refill. The meals were large in portion and simply delicious. Highly recommend the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. If ever in Southbank Brisbane I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Compliments to the chef! The pasta was aldente, the sauce deliciously creamy, the meal served hot and with a delicate balance. The drinks were chilled with enough ice to soothe the pallet. The table service was given with a pleasant manner and a beautiful smile...too. I think Spaghetti House is absolutely the best! Thankyou.
We enjoyed ourselves with the good service and helpful staff that attended to us. I had the spaghetti gamberi and enjoyed it tremendously. Prawns were huge and fresh and the pasta sause was delicious.
spaghetti was dry and tasteless, lasagna was burned on the bottom dry and tasteless top. has this place never heard of sauce? could have done better with a glass from the super market!
Even though I'm not from around here, I've been spending the week in the South Bank neighborhood and I must say that this was the best dinner I've had during my stay (5 nights).

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews of The Spaghetti House Trattoria. I had a wonderful experience there last Friday afternoon and I will definitely be back.
Don't be fooled by the appearance or fake Italian accents. The pasta I ordered tasted like low-quality pasta with a cheap broth.
