Popped in for lunch today on the off chance. We hadn't booked and there was no vegetarian dish left. Didn't matter as I just had the beautifully cooked veg cauliflower cheese, leeks, carrots, mashed swede, parsnips, brocoli, roasties and Yorkshire pud. The four of us felt welcome as soon as we went in. Fabulous food at reasonable prices. Wonderful range of dishes. We each chose a different pie and they were all homemade and delicious. Very fluffy mash, a great selection of vegetables and lashings of tasty gravy. A wonderful pub, staffed by lovely people, serving exceedingly tasty food. Couldn’t ask for more. Well done and thank you.

We saw this pub on Trip Advisor whilst staying in Emsworth. What a superb find, the staff are really friendly, food excellent and a nice ambience. My husband enjoyed one of their homemade pies with fresh vegetables which was delicious, I chose a prawn madras which was very tasty. It was so good we are going back there tonight ! Please try this pub, you will not be disappointed.

Big shout out to say thank you for always being so accommodating and going the extra mile when we bring in our pesky children for a lazy Sunday lunch. Loving the great value food relaxed friendly atmosphere!
