We were booked in for lunch in a group of Bellringers. I had previously visited to check out the pub and was welcomed and had a drink and beautiful ham sandwich. We were very impressed that we did not need to preorder our food, which we have often needed to do as we were a group of 12. The menu choice was extensive. I was amazed that a special 2 course choice was only £6.00, The quantity and quality of all the food ordered was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this venue.
The Talaton Inn is a fantastic country pub. Dog friendly. Great service and food in a lovely, friendly atmosphere, watch out for the steps to the loos though!! We all had a great time here. I visited for lunch on Monday, but unfortunately, the pub was closed and it's also closed on Tuesdays. No worries, I'll definitely be back on another day soon. I've dined there numerous times and keep returning because I've never had a disappointing meal! Plus, it's great value for money.

tried the talaton inn, beautiful rental and personal, cozy atmosphere along with a crushed roast and homemade pudding and everything for £6 plus drinks. we will be worth a visit if in the area....definitively return
