The historic building has a charming character, with its lovely front and rear gardens that were a delight to wander through. The combination of mature plantings and newer additions reflects a property that has been cherished for many years and seeks rejuvenation. The lounge and bar areas were inviting and cozy, offering access to the terrace and dining room. While Wi-Fi was available, it was limited to the lounge and bar. Our room was very comfortable and spotless, though it lacked the refinement that a high-end inn might offer. The meal was exceptional, paired perfectly with the wine. I even got the exact table I had requested based on the pictures on their website. To our delight, they had another surprise in store for us: a special dessert plate featuring earthy chocolates and other delicious treats, with "Happy Anniversary" written in white chocolate. The Rybeck is ideally situated just outside Bowness.From the minute we walked in we were so well looked after.Our room was lovely overlooking the Lake and it had a lounge with lots of newspapers and magazines and a logfire.The food was fantastic and the staff looked after us really well.I will definitely be going back

My wife and I returned as guests of the management, and we had an amazing experience. The staff was very attentive, and the lunch was of excellent quality. only for a three-day stay. we were in a very comfortable ground floor room with terrace doors that led three stages to a table, chairs and garden. view of the windermeresee. idyllic, quiet location with beautiful gardens and vogelsong. beautiful hotel, good food and extremely helpful staff.

What a lovely 2 night stay,cosy room with a bed I didn't want to get of the view was beautiful and the food was exceptional,carnt find fault with anything,staff very friendly wouldn't think twice of a return visit,overall very happy a must go

A simply completely delicious dining experience. Combined with beautiful views across Windermere, elegant interiors lovely staff. I’m not going to give every single detail, suffice to say it’s absolutely worth spending time here.
