We 've finally done it, after too long we got to experience the magnificent Three Chimneys. From entering to leaving the whole experience was magical. We were met and greeted by the wonderful front of house staff and really made to feel welcome. Throughout the course of the meal we got to chat to nearly all members of the team, such a great contrast of characters and personalities, yet all boasted the same high level of attentiveness, and professionalism you 'd come to expect from such an establishment. What can we say about this place that hasn't already been said! We came here for lunch as we couldn't get a booking on our trip last year and it was 100% worth the wait. I would go so far as to say it's the same quality as I've had from some Michelin starred restaurants in London! Every dish was beautiful and the service was superb, which was not only friendly but they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We started with the oysters, which were so fresh and tasty, and the smoked haddock, which was possibly my favourite of the two. It came with a savoury ice cream, which just lit up the plate. the three camels have been on my list for years. we finally made it into the sky for a 10-year anniversary. we booked the cooking table on Saturday to celebrate. it was such a beautiful experience. all employees were so inviting. we came and had relaxed drinks and met our roommates. we then sat in a relaxed lunch in the kitchen and watched the work of the cook her magie. obviously a finely tuned team, because everything was presented so relaxed and perfect. each of the courses was breathtaking. We spent a night in the hotel and enjoyed dinner in the on-site fine dining restaurant. Our room was very large and modern with a local touch. High quality amenities ie tea and coffee pot and mugs from Le Creuset fit nicely to the room's design. Breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. Well, and dinner was simply phantastic. You can combine various starters and mains to your own tasting menu, everything is locally sourced (all suppliers are presented in a well -designed booklet). We had an absolutely incredible evening. We enjoyed the "Taste of Skye" menu right at the kitchen table, in the kitchen itself. We had the chance to see the chef at work, chat with them, and explore the surroundings. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The food was nothing short of amazing, beautifully showcasing the products of Skye. Yes, it's on the pricier side and a bit off the beaten path, but it’s absolutely worth it for a genuinely memorable culinary experience that you won't forget!

It’s been a while since my last post because I just spent five weeks traveling around Europe. Let’s just say it will take me a few months to sort through all my vacation memories, but it was definitely worth it! I won’t bore you by recapping every meal I had across Europe (you can check out @foodiemelbourne on Instagram if you want to see all the amazing food I enjoyed), but I absolutely have to share my incredible dining experience at Three Chimneys on the Isle of Skye in Scotland.

Without any doubt one of the best in Scotland The location is sublime and unbelievable some of the best natural beauty you will find anywhere in the world The Waiters and staff here are 10/10 The food is absolutely fantastic the scallops and beef is incredible And a fantastic wine menu too. Very worthy of a Michelin star IMO
