We'd done a long walk around the local area and ended-up here for Sunday lunch. Luckily we were seated at the back of the restaurant were the tables were quite socially distanced, but the servers were not wearing masks which was disappointing.They have a variety of Sunday roasts on the menu, I went for beef and turkey duo. Our food arrived in short order, the plate was full of nicely presented food which was pipping hot. Everything was cooked well and tasted great (although my beef was a bit chewy). We asked for and got extra gravy, which was excellent.The young servers deserve special mention as they worked really hard, dashing about the restaurant making sure everybody got served with hot...
Went here last night def will be going back,food great,staff very helpfull management even rearrange the table bookings so we could stay longer if we wanted to not pressured in any way very relaxing nice and clean hot food not warm all fresh cooked decent beer as well ,I say well done to all concerned it was a pleasure to come and see you guys
could not evaluate this place enough, today I have set the tip here for the 3rd birthday party of my sohnes and although it rained, we had the best time that the venue was great eating and personal amazing, those were all so friendly and helpful and simply want to come a massive massive thank you to all for dinner soon lol thanks again
The Sirloin Steaks at this restaurant are a fantastic value, always served fresh and hot. The service is excellent, but I deducted one star due to the disappointing Award Winning Pie. Unfortunately, the pastry is consistently rock hard. I have voiced my concerns multiple times, but the issue persists.

some friends met for a meal and was greeted with friendly service. eating was fantastic, hot and full of taste. the place has a beautiful atmosphere and they were very accommodating to my children, especially to my son who has autism. call them to the cook to thank him for a good meal. in any case:
I had two enjoyable afternoons at this restaurant while staying at the hotel across the street. The staff was friendly, provided good service, and the setting was lovely with plenty of outdoor space. The pricing was reasonable, and the food was well-presented and served quickly without any delays.
Eat fantastic food and service for our Christmas Eve family. the waitress was cheerful because they had to fight through people standing on their way and walking around children. would be recommending
Next door to our hotel so very convenient. Used to Greene King pubs. Food was very nice, choice of drinks OK. Busy Saturday night, staff did well.
