The Tree House - Reservar una mesa

Went here with my best friend. Have been before but a few years ago. The decor is fab with the tree spreading out across the restaurant. We were seated in a table by the bar by a lovely chatty member of staff, who came straight...back with menus and took our drinks order. Drinks came out within a few minutes and we were asked if we were ready to order…we weren’t cause we had been chatting, no problem I will come back the young waitress said, and she did a few mins later when we were ready. Starters came out within mins I had the duck salad and my friend had pork croquettes, both dishes were delicious. For mains I had the Malaysian chicken and sweet potato curry and my friend had supreme of chicken again both absolutely delicious. The staff were amazing, the restaurant was full but service didn’t suffer. We couldn’t have wished for better food, fabulous service and great atmosphere. My friend has not been before, she lives mins away and she has said she will b back. I live mins away and I will b back.

Disappointed with food. Pros good menu, good set price offer, clean. Friendly staff. Cons food is disappointing, nicely presented but just not very tasty. Nothing memorable. It’s a shame because the restaurant is nice, the food is just bland. Also plastic straws...! Come on, please get rid of single use plastic (or make clear if you are using up old stock).

Fantastic little restaurant. Cannot fault anything. Relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff, great choice on the menu. The food cooked to a high standard with super service. We will return and recommend. Thank you for making my birthday special with the acknowledgement.

... pork belly and scallops were divine: both cooked excellently and combined with a butternut squash puree they offered a delicate balance of flavours. Vincenzo’s pate was good: smooth and flavoursome, with sufficient small toasts...

Booked a last minute meal. Service was exceptional. Food was top notch. Such a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend
