to visit this restaurant for an authentic Thai meal, we have made us feel very disappointed by the restaurant, is very clean and the service is really good, but the meal itself was not very good at all. my friend and I decided to go for the chicken pad-thai and if they want a bowl with a sealed nude, that's the place to go. there was no color or sweetness that she had with a pad thai. three tiny pieces ot huh and the noodles were all stuck together and not free flowing. no red chili on the top either. really wish I had made a photo.
on Friday, 21st april, a family dinner was happy. very welcoming, friendly service, fabulous eating. I usually don't like fish cure, but the penang salmon (salmon curry) was amazing! others had the curry (long discussion about whether this was a jungle curry, yes,...but not as hot as expected, although very enjoyed, and the bark with garlic. the noodles were like the statemen, like the tom yum suppe. definitely recommend for some beautiful, real Thai food.
We wandered into The Vine late afternoon wondering if they were open for dining. Within seconds we were warmly welcomed and served drinks whilst a table was quickly prepared for us by the owner. She guided us upstairs and nothing was too much trouble. Our...starter was served quickly and once finished our main courses followed promptly. We found the quality of the food to be excellent and the attentiveness of staff outstanding. We won’t hesitate to return.
Brilliant A life saver After our waiter forgetting to place our order at the Premier Inn we had a little walk. The Vine stops serving at 9pm and we rolled in just before. We could not have been accommodated more. Within 10 minutes we had...a table full of food all freshly cooked and beautifully served. we had the belly pork and prawn roll to start. Crispy chilli beef with rice and pad Thai chicken for main. All great 10/10 and will definitely visit again

On holiday in Norfolk. Went in a few days back to avoid the rain and have a beer. Didn’t realise a small place can pack so much in. Real ales, imported quality ales from around the world. Went back into today to try the food....Absolutely lovely food. Great atmosphere as it’s off the beaten track not many would know about it. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Very authentic Thai food. The village curry is hot, so be warned but very tasty. I loved it.
my first visit, it did not have the greatest selection, but the staff is friendly and what is in the offer is beautiful, I will probably stay at the house as my favorite Thai in norwich but if I have a little less formal with good. I'd be happy to come back.
First visit for 2 years, pleased to say the standards are as high as ever. The cask ales downstairs are perfectly kept, and the food is the best Thai I’ve had outside of Thailand. Particularly recommend the Salmon dish.
Visited here before heading off to the theatre. Food was beautiful, arguably the best Penang curry I have ever eaten. Very friendly staff and homely surroundings. Would recommend and definitely visit again.

this is a nice friendly pub that is very welcoming. I didn't have the food here, so can not comment, but the beer and apple selection was always decent when I was there.
Ate dinner here on Wednesday 25 August 2021. Excellent food, coupled with well kept real ales. Nirvana. Excellent service to boot.
