Very friendly people was made to feel very welcome, I2 of us had steak, it was very good and really well cooked. I like it there, had net been in there for 40yrs and it won't be that long before we trturn again I can guarantee. All in all great night, great food lovely people. Perfect Parking: Parking fine, it's on a mail road close to a small roundabout and I'm always concerned about leaving the car park turning left, but maybe that's just a old man like me!!!! Characterful pub with a tasty choice of pub grub. Even though they had a limited menu when I went (due to a funeral) they were still offering all the pub classics like Hunter's Chicken, Fish and Chips, Sausage and Mash etc. My sausage and mash was hot and delicious and tasted home cooked. Prices were reasonable in these inflationary times and the pub ambience was good. I would've liked to have seen a bigger choice of beers but I was very happy with my Icebreaker. I will be going back to check out the Sunday lunches. I hear they are fantastic.
