The Wilkes Head

a great little pub, very busy on Sunday afternoon with drinking and diners, so book a table in the area (not dogs not allowed in this area, but allowed in the rest of the pubs). not a menu, but tormented on the board, so I guess it changes regularly. Today we had lammage frying, plaice chips, right suet steak nierenpudding and chili.

a really nice local that has been shitting away in eastergate. two small bars are equipped with a beer garden. ales change regularly and always serves well. also friendly staff, that makes this to our rework pub!

beautiful friendly pub very good beer and a beautiful large garden to sit and covered sitting opportunities I use quite a lot here

This is my local, no telly, hard floors, decent pub grub, roaring fire and dogs welcome...love it!
