The Witch Inn - Reservar una mesa

Staff were lovely and very friendly but just found it very expensive with small portions. I have the roast beef which was nice but nothing special and was left hungry after, could have done with more veg, potatoes and parsnips especially for £20. I had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was lovely, but again felt overpriced for what it was. Overall felt like the portion size was a massive let down as the quality didn't match the price.

beautiful small pub with beer garden, clean environment and decor; very friendly and responsive staff. good menu selection, although on lacto free options on the desert better than the sorbet. the food quality was generally good, a bit let off, the Brat lamb dinner was warm and not hot enough when delivered. roast lamb was probably the rarest thing I'd get over, I like my steaks so, but lamb needs a little more than raw to enjoy the taste.

Thank you Sophie and team from the Lindfield Dads group for a lovely evening at The Witch. I know we all had a great time, and to say it’s the first time we’ve ordered food, the shared platters and chips were a big success! The beers and food were delicious as always, the Dads were all able to get some well deserved down time, with lots of good banter and laughs had, and as always a lovely atmosphere, with such friendly staff. warmly welcome, good food and superior beer and wine. gastropub, which attracts both native and visitors from another afield. French influence, with pub classics and a la carte menu, including large appetizers, very good fish, venison, duck and bark meat. very well run rests and a relaxed cool mood. my local in lindfield. reservation required at a weekning, dog friendly.

Although the food, wines and beers are still excellent, I was not as blown away by the experience as on previous occasions. The place was empty (20:00, Wed night) and therefore lacked any atmosphere. The waitress was keen to get our food order asap as I guess the cook wanted to go home. Service was excellent but it seemed very expensive

We were a party of 4, celebrating a birthday. We had a lovely evening, the food was excellent and we were very well looked after. 2 of our party were partially deaf which was explained beforehand and we were placed in the snug table where the background noise is reduced as the restaurant was busy. We shall certainly be returning.

Lovely ambience, great good, very friendly staff, bit pricy, no carpark. Had the pork belly with jus and it was lovely. Definitely recommended.
