I used to love Withies. Quality food, excellent service and staff that really seemed to take pride in their work. This experience was anything but the above. Few people booked on a Friday night (they clearly knew something I didn’t). The service was lack lustre, a feeling that they were delivering the minimum with zero interest in customer experience. I mistakenly ordered the Turkey Christmas Main. It was dry and came with two pigs in blankets and a square of stuffing on the plate. Yes there were additional vegetables in the terrine but I couldn’t quite recover from how sad the plate was. after a 40-minute journey to friends we were thrown by the waiter and wein was poured with the commentary from the waiter into wee glasses that we drank too slowly because the staff wanted to be close by 10 o'clock and not by 11 o'clock. it was a real shame because we recommend the inn our friends who were by the way completely inconsistent with the bad and hastened service

This is beautiful, potentially. We had Sunday Roast, which is what it is , but they have a few things to learn about roast potatoes in my view and portions were definitely not for a British Pub-Style Beano . I will go again because I liked the place a lot so I ought to try the more cuisiniere options.

Delcious food great ambience quaint higgedly piggedly nooks and crannies in this historic building a proper Olde English Pub. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Enjoyed our lunch. Reserva una mesa ahora
