Waited half an hour for food that turned up congealed and Luke warm. Sent it back to incredibly a new meal arrived 5 mins later. Good old microwave. Told us they were fresh chips but my half eaten chip with my lipstick was still on the plate. Admitted that the burgers had been reheated ! Terrible food. Was embarrassed for the young waitress who kept being sent to us poor girl. Asked to speak to the Manager who never appeared. Meals eventually taken off the bill but never had confirmation so will await the bill. You can't give my 87 year old mum reheated scampi, first rule in any kitchen. This is beautiful pub with a great ambience. The staff were warm, welcoming and polite. For them I would have given 5 stars. However the food let's this place down completely. It's clearly frozen food on a plate that is then heated. The leeks were raw and inedible, the chicken was tough and rubbery with no flavour, and all four meals were lukewarm. The waitress was very polite and apologetic and offered to reheat our meals. One of the group's beer battered mushrooms was still frozen. This pub has huge potential and serves a wide area, so needs to provide quality food, not microwave dinners.
The karaoke was great fun for our Christmas party. The whole thing was such a good laugh. Drinks were reasonable and bar service was good. The meal was cheap, but was quite dated in style and very “microwaved” for the price it was good, but the restaurant side could definitely be improved. Table service was slow and I witnessed the waitress not being polite or helpful to another guest.
Me and my family came in for lunch and had such a lovely experience. Staff were friendly and polite and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious every single one of us ate all our food. We will definitely be coming again and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely local pub, met with some friends for a drink cosy atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating and polite, seem like a good laugh and genuinely nice people. Food came out quick and amazing food amount for the price. Also dog friendly! Will be returning!
Myself and the wife were in the town and popped in for a drink. We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the staff on duty were all very professional. We ended up staying for a few and will definitely return next time we are in the area.
Staff were so good looking after us so well festive meal was excellent even with the allergy’s on our table could not do enough for us our Xmas dinner was fun and all my friends had a great time coming back for this tasty food
Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, the food was very tasty , and served up pretty quick by a very pleasant waitress, we had a relaxing Sunday lunch , much needed break, thankyou

Lovely little pub, poped in for a beer and curry before work and both hit just the right spot. I have been here a few times and its always great
A wonderful evening! Service was second to none! Would come again . The table was for 4 people We had a laugh with the staff.
