I 've heard so many good things about Thyme and we were really excited about coming. The exterior has a whimsical feel to it...like you 're going into a big fancy cottage for some out of this world meal. Parking lot is big and with a nice view too! We were in awe for about 3 minutes...until we walked in to the hostess and asked for a table for 4. She asked the typical do you have a reservation? and we said we were just walk-ins. And I swear the hostess rolled her eyes and exhaled a sigh (later confirmed by my party that they all saw it too). The restaurant was only maybe 1/4 full so I don 't see why she scoffed the way she did. To Ms. Hostess, you are the front of the house...there 's no rea...
I have been here a few times but last night the food was very good. We enjoyed the mussels as swell as the Dorade fish special. My husband had the lamb chops and said it was very good. The noise level was extremely energetic to say the least. We arrived at approximately 6:30 and were seating in the upstairs room. It was nice because we were able to have a conversation the other couple we were with. By the time we left around 9 pm, we could barely hear ourselves speak. However, it was a fun night, and we will definitely be coming back. The waiter was attentive, and the bus boy was on top of refilling our water glasses, so that was great!
A great experience from start to finish. Easy parking, greetings were warm and friendly, the food, service and attentiveness were EXCELLENT. The staff’s attentiveness was simply superior and the food, appetizers and entrees, were delicious and served on time. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially in the freshly falling snow. I took my girlfriend there for a nice dinner celebrating her 60th birthday and the restaurant had the charm I desired for such an occasion. I’m glad I chose Thyme!
Delicious food, great drinks, and excellent service! The quality and attention to detail on the food and drinks makes dining at THYME a wonderful experience! I recommend eating here for brunch as well as dinner.

The brunch had good options but you could only choose 1, and anything additional was a la carte, so not exactly what I had in mind for a brunch. But everything was tasty and the service was good as well.
