Tommy Tamale Market Cafe

Went Tuesday afternoon and was the only one there and ordered the burrito with beef and added chicken. It was good however the portion size was ridiculous. It was extra heavy with the rice, super light on the beef and light on the chicken. For a $11 burrito I would say hard pass as it a bad value, disappointing. The red and green sauces were tasty. Unfortunately the service was not very welcoming, felt like I was bugging them. I will be back to try the tamales because I hear and see good things.

The owner is incredibly warm and makes an effort to greet and engage with every guest who walks in. The staff is also very friendly. The food is truly comforting, delicious, and fresh! We ordered the small tamale bowl with beef chili and added a side of sour cream. It was a burst of flavors in every bite. We'll definitely be coming back!

I've had a disappointing experience with the tamales on my second visit. They were not good, and I even found them cold in the middle. I'm starting to wonder if there's been a change in management since my first visit, where the person taking my order was quite rude. I won't be wasting my money here again.

When I walked in this restaurant today, Tommy himself said, welcome home! What a great first experience at Tommy Tamale. Food was hot and super delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant was super clean. We will be back. Worth a drive! Reserva una mesa ahora

Offers tamales for vegetarians! That, in itself should insure success;I wish them all success. Everything my wife and I ate there was delicious. See you next time I’m in Texas! ¡Somos vegetarianos amigos!

Fantastic...I could eat this everyday. Great tamales and I think the Tommy bowl may be the perfect food. Great item to take a few home and freeze for another day. Holds well and reheats perfectly

fantastic food, great price and worth every penny. delicious. i was over ambitious and ordered a large bowl and couldn't finish it in one sitting and im a big eater. met tommy, great service

Easily the friendliest people I've ever met running a restaurant. Everyone seemed happy to be here. On top of that, the food was excellent.

The prices are a bit high, but the selection of tamales is absolutely delicious.
