The staff was busy but attentive, smoothly handling the shift from breakfast to lunch. Large glass windows behind the bakers let you watch the team prepare everything fresh in the kitchen. The coffee was freshly made and tasted excellent. We also appreciated the motivational sign at the entrance.
This bagel shop is situated in a shopping center with ample parking. Even with a bustling crowd, the operation was well organized and efficient. Everyone knew their role, which made the experience run seamlessly. We’ll definitely be back tomorrow!
This restaurant is conveniently located right off Old County Road in Plainview, making it easy to spot from nearby Nassau County areas. There is plenty of parking available, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered, and they accept credit cards. The staff is friendly, with owner Steve Cohen particularly going above and beyond to make guests feel like family. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be returning.
I highly recommend this place to local Facebook groups! On my first visit, I was really impressed by how clean and sanitary the environment was. The space is large and bright, filled with plenty of natural light. They take COVID precautions seriously here. The bagels were amazing; I tried the plain and poppy seed ones. They had a bold flavor with just the right amount of strength and tasted incredibly fresh. The service was quick, efficient, and courteous. I will definitely be coming back soon!
I repeatedly receive poor service from Victor. He has taken my order multiple times and always appears irritated whenever I ask for anything. This morning, when I asked for napkins at checkout, it was obvious he was annoyed by the request. He could benefit from better training or should consider a different job if he doesn't want to serve customers. Interactions with him have definitely spoiled my mornings.

The quality has significantly declined. I used to order from here every day, as it was my favorite bagel place. However, I've been experiencing problems with my orders lately. In just the past week, I've encountered issues with two out of four orders. The quality is not what it used to be. This is what they now call a bagel with cream cheese.
The food was truly fantastic, and the service was exceptional! I had an everything bagel sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, while my wife savored a pumpernickel bagel spread with scallion cream cheese and lox. Despite the long line, it moved quickly. These are definitely some of the best bagels on the Island!
We left NY nearly 25 years ago, but when we think bagel shop, it is still the Town Bagel that we think of. We never miss a chance to eat at the Town Bagel whenever we visit NY. Simply the best.
By far the best bagels on Long Island. They're always warm and fluffy. The sandwiches they prepare are among the best in New York State—you won't be disappointed!
