Trattoria 'a Vucchella Wood Oven Pizza

We have visited this restaurant many times and have always left satisfied, but this time was different. We had a reservation for four and were seated at a corner table outside. Despite a ceiling fan running, it was still hot and stuffy, making for an uncomfortable experience. We ordered salads and entrees, but our main courses arrived before we had even finished our salads. My dish, a pasta beef special, was bland and watery, and another seafood special was overcooked. I'm hoping this was just an off day, and that if we return, the quality will be back to the high standards we have come to expect!

This charming little Italian restaurant feels like a hidden gem. The food is incredibly tasty, with a menu that has just the right variety for everyone to find something they enjoy. They offer homemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, and unique dishes you won't easily find anywhere else. The service is warm and welcoming, and there’s a small outdoor seating area away from the street. Parking is usually available on the street, with meters charging a reasonable rate per hour.

I visited the restaurant for lunch about a month ago and was impressed by its interior design, which created a cozy atmosphere. The service was quick and friendly, making it a great spot for a family dinner, lunch with friends, a coffee break, or even a romantic dinner. Overall, I enjoyed everything, although I was slightly disappointed with the Pasta Carbonara—it had a wonderful flavor but was a bit too salty for my taste.

Had a private event on Saturday afternoon for 50 people. I could not have been happier with how to day turned out. The food was outstanding and abundant. Appetizers, pasta and main course, a true Italian meal. The service was excellent. I received so many compliments from my guests how delicious the food was. I highly recommend. I hadn't been to A Vucchella in years. We decided to stop in last night and have dinner at the bar. It was just as excellent as I remember, if not better! I am Italian, and my father was in the food business, so I know authentic Italian cuisine, and THIS IS IT. You will not be disappointed!

I would have shared photos, but it would be just empty plates. Calamari tasted clean and not rubbery. Friend had the pepperoni pizza and I was fortunate enough that I got a slice. It was amazing. I got the pappardelle fungi e tartufo nero....fanfreakingtastic!

We were a party of 6 who are big foodies and love Italian food. This place has it all and does it with real class! Loved every dish drink and dessert. An amazing relaxing dinner with great waiter.

Not bad, not great, different. No baked clams, no chicken parm. The chicken milanese that i did get was beaten to a pulp and hard as a rock. Staff was nice but overall, ehhh Reserva una mesa ahora
