Honestly, you get what you pay for at this hotel. We booked during a £15 per night deal, so we got three nights for under fifty pounds which was a great deal. The rooms are clean but small, perfect if you're just using it as a base to explore Historic Lancaster and its surroundings. The hotel is conveniently located next to a Wetherspoons, which is good for budget-conscious travelers. Parking is cheap and easy to find. The rooms were cleaned daily and the beds were made up. Everything appeared to be fine. The late check-in option was a nice touch, especially for those traveling to the Lake District. However, the room had a strong odor of beer and urine.
