So atmosphere is below par. Service is horrible. You have to order online on your phone, and pay on the phone. They don't come by at all to help, and don't even tell you it's done online. You have to ask around or figure it out from the QR code. If you order a flight of beer, they don't even bother labeling the beers. The Trinktisch operating concept is as follows: you find YOURSELF a table, scan YOURSELF the menu via QR code, pay YOURSELF online and then you have to pay 20% Gratuity for (what) service?!? Once we were brought our beverages and food, not a SINGLE “waitstaff” returned to inquire if anything else was needed, or if we were happy with our meals. It 's great to have authentic German food and a huge variety of beers around the corner in Belmont! Prices are pleasantly a bit undermarket as well, and, unlike every other restaurant in Boston, there 's no hidden post-pandemic kitchen fee. The servers tend to be very young but highly attentive. I had an amazing time at this restaurant. The seating was reminiscent of a Beer Hall, the German food was excellent, and the beer selection was top-notch. The price per person is around $20-30. I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all as a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Croquettes and German Potato Salad. There is plenty of parking available, and it's free in the parking lot.
