Today, we visited Tugboat for a quick bite of fish and chips. The restaurant was much larger inside than I had anticipated, with booths along the side with painted windows that caught my attention. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and I ordered the two fish-fish and chips ($11.99) and some lumpia ($9.99). While waiting, I took some photos and our food arrived within five to ten minutes, piping hot and fresh. We had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, but had difficulty with their inconsistent operating hours. Finally, we were able to visit and we were disappointed with our experience. We ordered a 3-piece fish combo and a shrimp basket. Unfortunately, the shrimp had a heavy and hard breading with a strong fish taste. The fries did not taste fresh and the fish was thin with little flavor. However, the breading on the fish was nice and flaky. The service was decent and the restaurant had a nice set-up for the type of food they serve, with plenty of seating. They also had a variety of drink options, including fountain drinks and bottled drinks.
This restaurant serves the best fish and chips. The dish is perfectly prepared with a crispy batter that crunches with every bite and tender, flaky fish that falls apart. I have enjoyed every bite! The chips are also crispy and delicate. The friendly cook really knows what they are doing. It appears to be run by a man and woman who do excellent work. The restaurant is very clean with hand-sanitizer available at each stand and on every counter. I particularly enjoy sitting at the end counter across from the small, soothing fountain.
This restaurant serves the best seafood in the world. The batter is golden, crispy, and not oily. The portions are very generous no matter what you order. The food was still hot even after a 10-mile journey. This Tug Boat restaurant is amazing.

Had fish n chips. Fish was okay, not greasy, fries were like winco frozen. It was all just mediocre. $12.99 for 2 piece n fries. Place is tired... many seats covered in duct tape. Soda machine broken. You have to buy soda by the can.Food: 3/5
It had been a while since I had fish and chips, but this place was amazing with excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning soon because it was so delicious that I had to have more.
The food always comes hot. The fish is flakey. The shrimps are large. We get the condiments we ask for. This is our favorite fish place!
We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Overall, we rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I was very impressed with the two pieces of fish served with tartar sauce and the crispy French fries.
We ordered the seafood Fish Combo with shrimp and fish. Unfortunately, the shrimp were not deveined.
