A family favourite when in Sydney!!! Fast service, awesome flavours and great value for money. We can never go past the Massaman lamb shank - the meat falls off the bone and the Massaman Curry sauce is soooo aromatic and tasty. Another staple is the pad see ew. Definitely up there with the most enjoyable I've tried. Duck with ginger and veg was full of flavour too! All in all this place packs a flavour punch without the price tag to match. Consistent, cheap, tasty and good sized serves!!! Happy eats :)
Don't go here if you have a pram or need a high chair. The owners and staff are very unhelpful and rude. If you do visit and need a high chair, be prepared to ask for it multiple times, and feel belittled whilst the waiter puts it together whilst huffing and complaining. You also get to rearrange the furniture for the staff as they stand by and watch when you attempt to leave the restaurant. The papaya salad was ok but serving was small and not filling. Would not return.
Tum Zaap makes the best pas Thai I have ever tasted. It's zingy and fresh and doesn't taste like the Thairiffic basic tomatoey pad Thai sauce ever other restaurant makes. If you're one of those people who goes to a Thai restaurant, says they'll order something new but always ends up with the pad Thai, try this place. As a weekly customer, I'm so thankful that Tum Zaaps pas Thai is not only the best pas Thai, but the cheapest at $9.90
I adore the food at Tum Zaap and it has been uniformly excellent over many visits. It's a little hole in the wall, a bit of bus noise when the windows are open, but the food brings me back again and again. It's perfectly fresh, amazing flavors and the staff are just so lovely. Their BBQ dishes are done over charcoal and are just wonderful. One of my favorite Thai places in Sydney .

I love this place. The Laksa's are outstanding. I'm often in Mascot or Clovelly during the last 15 months for family needs and I find myself catching the bus up to 3 or 4 times a week for a meal.I simply love this style of Thai food. When your next visit Randwick..do yourself a favour and have a meal at this wonderful place.
Never been let down here!Food is delicious, service is quick and open all day.I travel to Thailand a lot for work and I find Tum Zapp is by far the most authentic Thai food.All the dishes are very cheap with generous serving. Another bonus is that's it's BYO.I don't bother going to any other Thai restaurants now.
This is the best Thai restaurant in Randwick. The flavours are amazing, incredible value and friendly service. It's canteen style, so the food doesn't always come out at the same time. But at the prices they charge, it really doesn't matter. Highly recommended.
A small, unassuming place that serves meals with big flavour. Everything we ordered was delicious - special mention to the Masaman Lamb Shanks and the Curry Puffs ! Reasonable prices and great sized portions. Will be back soon!

Cheap simple and basic Thai restaurant. Family run and polite with efficient service. Variety of dishes and styles and really quite nice. Enjoyed whole fried snapper.
Entrees and mains between 3 for 57$ left feeling very full! Great food lots of flavour and good menu choices.
