Fantastic spot for cider. Tried a few different kinds, including a slightly spicy jalapeño cider. The guy behind the bar was very knowledgeable about the cider and the area and was able to provide great detail about cider process and the history of the town. If you're coming for cider, don't worry if you pull up to a coffee shop, you're in the right place as the cider house shares space with Wolf Hill Coffee.
Stuck and snobby. All the employees do is gossip about everyone in town. Go somewhere else and save yourself some trouble the drinks will be better and you won't have to hear people drama from the bartenders. Literally all I've heard is who sleeps with who and about how the owner of the Winery cheated on her husband and it's getting a divorce. Who cares about anybody else's life just serve drinks.
They also have cornhole and additional seating at the back of the building. On the night we visited, they offered a "build your own bouquet" activity, and it was lovely to see everyone leaving with beautiful flower arrangements and vases. One of the staff members was great with the kids, which was really sweet! Our first visit couldn't have been better, and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you!
I crafted my own tasting flight and tried the jalapeño, blueberry, and smoked apple whiskey barrel options. My favorite was definitely the whiskey barrel, as I’m a bourbon enthusiast. I also had the pleasure of meeting Justen, who is truly a master of his craft. Make sure to stop by for a sip in this historic building; the atmosphere will make you feel right at home. Awesome ciders! Highly recommend the flights the first time you come in. My favorite was Ridge Runner, but you can't go wrong here!. My wife loved the Whitetop cider! Ran into an old friend while I was there, too!
High quality ciders. Super local, delicious. Lots of flavors, sweet, dry, hopped, spruce sprig, cherry, jalapeño, whisky barrel aged. Something for everyone.
