This review is regarding the Mother’s Day “all you can eat” event in Newark, NJ. I remembered this restaurant hosted a bbq some years ago and the fried fish and potato salad were the stars. However, at this even for over $70 pp the food was not even somewhat palatable. I’m talking not a single item. Not to mention the food wasn’t hot. It was either cold or lukewarm at best. It seems that this may have been more of a money motivated event and not made with an ounce of love. The food tasted rushed. Which is baffling because the announcements for this event were made months in advance. More than enough time to put more effort into it. The deserts were bad as well. Especially, the peach cobbler....
