I ordered a truffle burger today through online, but when I received it, there's no truffle ingredients (especially the truffle fondue glaze) included in the burger. The picture online was different from the burger I ate. Also, the restaurant itself was an enigma and it's made harder for us visitors to find it (It's inside the Katsuya restaurant)
It's difficult to locate. The restaurant is tucked away down a dimly lit hallway inside Katsuya, with no signage to guide you. When I arrived at the time specified in my online order confirmation, my food hadn’t even been started yet, as the cook explained there was a "staff shortage." I won’t be returning.
I’ve visited a few Umami Burger locations, including the ones in the Arts District/Little Tokyo and Pasadena, and they were fantastic. However, this particular location is a disappointment. I experienced incorrect food orders even after reordering twice, and the quality of the food was poor and greasy.
-5 Stars. Completely wrong orders. Phone call doesn't answer. Looks more like a scam Umami. No real location, no phone calls pickup. I called a different Umami and they didn't even know this place existed? DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT. Reserva una mesa ahora
Got the order right but unfortunately the timing. Food was soggy and sitting there while I was waiting for it. The one guy working there was doing his best but they were understaffed possibly due to covid
The restaurant is difficult to locate, and the service leaves much to be desired. The staff was rude, and it’s also challenging for food delivery services to access the place.
This restaurant is awesome and spacious, the food was enchanting and the prices were very affordable. quick, efficient service and very friendly waiters. Highly recommended.
This is garbage. This cannot be the real Umami Burger. No way, no how. $50 down the drain and now I'm still hungry in lockdown due to curfew in Los Angeles. Reserva una mesa ahora
I honestly loved the food and service, good location to my residence. The employees are always very kind. Will visit here again.
