Came in for a Sunday lunch and signed into the covid sign in book and stood there for a few minutes while a waitress walked by me and ignored me. I could see other waitress mulling around the kitchen chatting and ignoring me. Then a...waitress came out running food and by passed me while I stood there waiting to be greeted and seated. I visited this restaurant on Sunday, October 11th around 1:30pm, which was a very quiet day. My party of two asked for a table and the waitress, who wore glasses, told us we could sit either by the window or inside. We chose a four-seater table away from other customers, assuming it wouldn't be an issue since the restaurant was quiet. However, the waitress abruptly told us we could only sit at a window table or a two-seater table. We have been an on and off customer at Una's for many years. It is a local favourite and one which I would always give at least 3 to 4 stars, basic honest food. Things have changed over the years. Prices have increased and now...a Schnitzel is getting near $30 which is on the high side for a pub staple. What we really didn't like was their bad service, we ordered their Gypsy Schnitzel which comes with sauce, we asked for the sauce on the side and were then told if they didn't pour it onto the food there was an extra charge. A must for people watchers who like good...food....oh, and a warning....the tomato sauce on the spaghetti is so good that it has a mind of it's own and throws itself all over you clothing!!!

After being in business for more than 50 years, Una's must be doing something right. I love the simplicity of this restaurant; why change what works? It's always a fantastic night with a wonderful atmosphere in a fantastic location, sitting outside and watching the world go by. And of course, I always go for the chicken schnitzel.
