There is no doubt the chicken here is good! Since Sept at least once a week I buy chicken wing piece at a quarter. There has been occasions the chicken has only been warm. This ocurred when the chicken wasn't freshly cut...and taken from chicken already cut up from a previous order. I've never experienced this from any other chicken shops. I have just gone in to get my weekly chicken fix and asked for my usual wing quarter. There was a cut up chicken and wing on display so I queried how long the cut chicken had been sitting there and was told hrs. In the past to months the quality of this takeaway has declined markedly. Everything used to be fresh and cooked to perfection. Our number one go to. The chips used to be the best chips in Adelaide, I am sorry but this is...no longer the case. The quality of ingredients is not as good. Chips are often cold or overcooked. We have given a few chances now. Last night we had another disappointing takeaway. The chips were cold, fishcakes overcooked and tasteless and the stuffing in the chicken was just undercooked breadcrumbs with a few herbs. Very unappetising. I am sorry but strikes and now we will not return.
We used to come here as our go to greasy spoon. Was sadly disappointed in the attitude of staff on this occasion who failed to acknowledge the presence of multiple customers for an extended period. Took off down the road instead... unlikely to return.
Chips are expensive overall expensiveDid find the quality of the food good and the salads were very nice but compare to other chicken and chip shops I definitely find it more expensive hence we no longer call this are local and have gone elsewhere

My family frequently orders chicken schnitzel packs from the Unley chicken shop. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are flavorful and fresh. Their chips and gravy are delicious, and we believe they are the best in the area!
I recently returned to this restaurant after a period of time and was pleased to see that it has new owners. The staff was very friendly and the calamari and prawns were fantastic! I highly recommend trying the seafood pack.
I honestly think this might be the best fries in Adelaide. I also tried the veggie burger and it was really good too.
just bought a large chips which were pathetically small. So much for Large. they were dry and not edible.
