Utopia Bakery Cafe

Friends from Parksville took my wife and I for a drive and we were admirring the beautiful murals around town and they told us what a fantastic bakery this was. They weren't kidding. This was the BEST bakery I have been into in more than...25 years or more. Everything was so clean, quaint, homey and friendly. We had sausage rolls and a pastry each. So delicious I bought 6 sausage rolls for the ferry ride back home to the mainland. I'll be sure to come back again next time were on the Island.

this bakery was originally the Dutch baker and his Finnish wife. their products were great. their articles were sold delish and always early on the day. the day came and the bakery was sold. Unfortunately for us customers who were used to. very high quality articles, it is a great disappointment. the products are far underlying, perhaps cheaper flour, as well as low quality bakers? who knows, except buyers foreseeable!

the owners of this package are Dutch and some things they testify to their inheritance. their imperial buns were delicious and the cake we bought was also highly recommended. this bakery should not miss them, the peculiarities are from holland and some things...are balanced delicious. The delicious things are long gone in the morning.

This small bakery is located down the lane next to a parking area (follow the yellow painted footprints). All baking is done on premises and it is excellent. The breads were wonderful including the best gluten-free bread I've ever had. The soup and sandwich lunch...was great. This is a find.

friendly and efficient local business that I very much support. often they fall for coffee and a baked or biscuit snack. I have a favorite, but I can't remember what they are called, so I have an apology to go back. safe recommended.

this is a great place to stop for cookies, zimtbälle, muffins or brot throughout the year. friendly service and variety. the baked were very similar to an old-fashioned bakery from the year jater. try it.

Stopped in at Utopia for lunch on our way to Salt Spring Island. What a lovely bakery. The sandwiches are massive and so delicious. The pastries looked so good. Would definitely stop again.

The cream cheese and raspberry danish is off the charts. The breads are made from scratch daily. An excellent selection. A bakery like it should be!

The best place for a soup and a sandwich in Chemainus. Great sourdough bread and the best baguettes this side of France.

We all got croissants fresh out of the oven and they were delicious. They owner was a lovely French man.
