Celebrating a Big birthday with 10 of our closet friends . Arrived in good time so we could have a drink in the bar before the food. Staff were excelent in both the bar and resturant , the desk staff were excelent too , they had arranged with the resturant staff to dress our table with flowers and balloons i had dropped off the day before . Great service and lovely food . Many thanks. I have to admit there was a discrepency at the end of our afternoon tea , But this was dealt with in a very professional way and i cannot thank everyone concerned enough . 10 out of 10 We returned to the resturant again today and all i can say is Thank You to the staff and the Resturant for such great service....
I went to this restaurant for lunch with friends. I often go in the hopes that they have removed the outdated, insulting, and unprofessional "joke" on the napkins. For those who haven't noticed, the napkin suggests that intoxicated customers should tick a box allowing taxi drivers to take money from their underwear. This inappropriate message is found in a supposedly elegant 5-star restaurant. The management seems adamant about keeping this offensive item as part of the restaurant's "charm," and they seem to rebel against anyone who dares to complain. I am equally determined to keep visiting, but if the napkin joke persists, I will give this place a low rating.
I had booked a table at a different restaurant in Southport for my wife's birthday but they hadn't read the reservation properly and could not cater for us due to my wife's allergies. As a result, we went to the Vincent who were absolutely superb from beginning to end. They really understood the issue and took it seriously (for example checked on cocktail, which is often something that gets overlooked). The service was top rate and the food was excellent. To top it off my wife was given a slice of vegan cheesecake (without the allegens) for her birthday. I can't recommend the Vincent highly enough, I only wish I had booked the Vincent to begin with.
Very disappointed this visit. The menu has changed and no Tom yum kai soup! (I probably haven't spelt that correctly. I loved it but it is no longer. I had prawns pil pil and it was quite nice, followed by lamb. Tough as old boots. Could hardly cut it with my knife. The potato accompanying it was a hard square. I was in a group and would have sent it all back, only not to spoil the night as we had a great time otherwise. Shiraz wine was delightful and waitress so lovely. Enjoyed being in the bar area, although it was empty.

I went to this restaurant for a gluten-free lunch, which can be difficult to find in Southport. The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I ordered the spicy tuna sushi, which was delicious and flavorful, along with perfectly cooked tender stem broccoli and fries. Although the fries are not typically gluten-free, the staff went out of their way to prepare some specially for me. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
My husband had never been here before, so we decided to treat ourselves to lunch. As soon as we walked in, we could tell it was a high-quality establishment. The staff was discreet yet attentive. The menu wasn't extensive, but the quality was evident. While the prices were a bit higher than other places, the food was freshly cooked, beautifully presented, and incredibly tasty. My only complaint is that the service was a bit slow during lunch, but we still enjoyed our experience and plan to return for dinner someday.
This “ Classy Restaurant “ remains hell bent on keeping the napkin on which an outdated , insulting, “ sick joke “ is placed on every place setting. By keeping this after many many complaints they obviously feel they have the upper hand on their unsuspecting Southport customers , many of whom are children. This in itself denotes the calibre of the owners and management. Unbelievable! And it’s a ONE from me !
We decided to go for lunch to celebrate my birthday. The decor was lovely and it had a lovely atmosphere. We chose the steaks which were cooked to perfection. The menu was pretty good and also the wine list. We were well looked after by Grace who had a good knowledge regarding the different dishes and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely will be back.

Excellent breakfast on Saturday with a friend. Great service and friendly helpful staff. Not somewhere I have ever been before but would recommend.
