Today I went back to one of my favorite restaurants when I was a vegan (not anymore). I loved the atmosphere, the ambiance, the complementary pickled cabbage and the hot tea. I craved their spring and chicken rolls. When I arrived and sat down same atmosphere, nostalgic, memories from when me and my friends would frequent bi weekly. As I soaked it in, I noticed there was no tea served, no pickled cabbage that I'd grown so fond of. Their absence took some of the nostalgia and soured a nit of the experience. I had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Montclair. The staff was incredibly polite and made me feel very comfortable. Everything I tried was delicious. The miso soup was a 9/10, the veggie fried dumplings were a 7/10, the pineapple ice tea was a 10/10, and the chicken with broccoli and white rice was a 9/10 and super delicious. The food here is anything but basic. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants now.
The food is so good and 100% vegan. It’s satisfying and I really like the flavor. They have perfected their seitan and the menu is huge. I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I am open minded about most food. I would definitely give this place a try if you’ve been curious about vegan meals. The prices are fair and they are very organized with their takeout. Would recommend.

I come here almost every other week Ive been coming here since I was a little girl and I will continue the tradition. Great people, beautiful atmosphere, DELICIOUS FOOD... I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The meat alternative is so convincing, you can't even tell it's not real meat. The staff is incredibly kind and well-mannered, making you feel welcomed and valued. They take great care of you during your visit. I would give it an 8 out of 10.

We were visiting from Maine and would absolutely recommend this to everyone to go try. We loved every bit. Hoping to come back for a visit in the area again for another visit.
