I'm leaving a double 5-star review. The first is for the fantastic food and service we experienced. The chilaquiles were delicious, and the waffle we tried was equally impressive. The second 5-star rating is for the way they handled my unfortunate situation afterward. My car broke down outside, and when I returned a couple of hours later to wait for a tow in the sweltering heat, the same server—who I assume is the owner—came out and brought me a cup of ice-cold water without me even asking. This kind of thoughtfulness is what’s often missing in the retail and food service industry. Thank you, Velma's, for your exceptional service! I will definitely be recommending this place to others.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and found the food to be quite good. The pancakes were delicious, but I was disappointed with the French toast. I can't understand how the pancakes are priced at $5.99 while the French toast costs $10.99! If you're willing to spend $10.99 just for the French toast, I expected something special. Additionally, egg and bacon are extra charges on the side, and the French toast itself was plain—nothing fancy like at other places that justify the price. Overall, I felt it wasn't worth what I paid.

The beef birria nachos are a must-try! The burrito and quesadillas are served as individual portions, but they are delicious. The jalapeño penne pasta is extremely creamy with a hint of spiciness. Unfortunately, they don't offer horchata, but their aguas are just as refreshing. Overall, this is a fantastic hidden gem. There is limited seating both inside and outside, so I highly recommend walking in!

The food was incredibly delicious, offering a modern twist while still remaining authentic to Mexican cuisine! I enjoyed the red chilaquiles with birria and chipotle potatoes, and every bite was bursting with flavors that transported me right back to Mexico! Reserva una mesa ahora

I’ve sampled a variety of items from their menu, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them! The chilaquiles are my favorite, paired with the cucumber agua fresca. Everything is absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it!

The restaurant needs to update their online hours. We arrived at 8:50 AM only to find it closed, despite their listing stating that they open at 8 AM.

Just a heads up, this place is still open! It only closed for a short time. The highlights of the menu are definitely the tacos and empanadas! Reserva una mesa ahora

B rating. This suggests there were some less-than-pleasant experiences. The service was slow, and the atmosphere felt uninviting.
