Normally they wow you with food quality and service.This last time I took my wife and my own mother for their Mother's Day Brunch and we were all so disappointed i felt i had to write this review.We got the 2 o'clock sitting which was the final sitting of the day for the Mother's Day Brunch. Visited VG for Mother's Day brunch. It was amazing and in comparison to other brunches in the city and around the world, this sticks out as my favorite. The food was delicious with a great variety of food and flavours. There was also a mimosa station at the bar with a few different types, they were all well thought out with fun garnishes. The buffet was great because they didn't overcrowd the reservations. They also placed different stations around the restaurant in different rooms, so people were never bunching up or standing in line for food. The service was the best. eating was normal, the extra tip was a surprise and we should know in advance the drinks are overpriced. I was in vancouver to a high tee and it was far superior. david the host was nice and the server worked hard. the staff has done good work overall.

Food was good. Service wasn’t anything to write home about but I wouldn’t say bad at all. Setting was nice. Little pricey but that was to be expected “it’s the Fairmont”. Over all I would go again for a special occasion.
The food was amazing, as was the service. We had a healthy breakfast of poached eggs on avocado naan bread with a tomato salad. I couldn't be more happy with my experience. And the orange juice was freshly squeezed!
Was very nice for something different to do. There was not enough food for $60 a person. They need to improve on the food pastries where great but sandwiches not so much.
Far exceeded my expectations and was well-priced for the quality. Great service. Will absolutely be back
