This use to be a place my wife and I would enjoy Friday night dinner at least once a month. Sadly to say complete flop ordered half litre of wine for myself no craft server promised to make sure I would get 2.5 glasses of wine didn't happen. Ordered the NEW Veal Scallopini Marsala I'm not a chef but pretty sure it's made with Marsala wine didn't happen. Sad to say but there are restaurants in Toronto that really don't know how to make traditional veal Marsala. If you put something on your menu make It the proper way. This place used to be our go-to place for a great brunch. Especially when one of my kids wanted a hearty breakfast and a chance to chat. The last time I came with my nephew this month, I was disappointed. A plate of eggs Benedict used to have a crisp salad and some fresh fruit. This time the salad was wilted and the sliced fruit was not fully ripened. Even the sauce for the eggs Benedict was watered down. Please get back to your high standard because you will force us to go somewhere else.

The food and menu was a nice surprise. Wasn't sure what to expect. Delicious is too insignificant description of what I ordered. Mixed seafood entree with rice and rare variety of fresh cooked vegetables,- white asparagus, sweet potato, parsnip, eggplant etc not your typical frozen bag of mixed vegetables.The entree consisted of dozen mussels in shell, lobster, huge garlic shrimp, salmon in a coconut green curry sauce. Amazing delicate taste. I almost picked the plate.

Vi Pei is tucked away in a plaza on Kingston Road in the east end of Toronto. It was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. The steak I had was excellent and surrounded by a variety of garden-fresh vegetables, including slices of peppers. The prices are reasonable and the waiters are very friendly but not obtrusive. I was really impressed with the food and service. I eat bacon and eggs often and they're either good or not but these were excellent. The bacon was perfect, the eggs were fluffy and the home fries were well cooked and tasty. I'm not usually impressed by bacon and eggs but these were fantastic.

This is a restaurant a friend and I head to after church most Sunday morning. It never even occurred to me to write a review on a place I get to so regularly but I think they deserve a very positive mention as both the food and service are quite good. Go and enjoy.

There's not a lot of choice in Cliffside for eats, beyond fast food. This place offers the best in the strip. Friendly service, nice atmosphere, rather cozy, good selection, nicely presented, and very reasonable prices.

Service was good waitress very attentive. Menu looked great had lots of options. Ordered several seafood dishes (mussels and pasta with seafood) Seafood did not taste very fresh and were overcooked. Will not be back. Reserva una mesa ahora

I ate here with a group of 7 people and we enjoyed a variety of meals. I had a seafood curry with rice and coconut milk. It was delicious! The service was good. I would both recommend it and go back again.

It's delicious! Get the Focaccia club sandwich. I have been to Vi Pei and Vi Vetha's and both are good.
