I decided to have a decent dinner with my family at this restaurant.Reading the reviews, we all thought this looks good to go so we booked a table via phone.Upon arrival we were greeted friendly and were seated at our table. It took about 5 minutes and we received the menu. My wife ordered Saltimbocca and I ordered a pizza vulcan which was described in the menu as salami, capers, cheese & tomato sauce. It sounded a bit spicy and I was craving for something tasty. The food was served after some 30 min. The Saltimbocca was okay but rich/heavy cooked. My pizza was like eating hot pepperoni. This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and is an authentically run Italian restaurant. It's also very popular and a reservation is recommended at the weekend. Staff are very attentive and helpful (and nearly all italian).Antipasti Misti was very nice indeed as was the fresh bread provided. We ordered fish (Seezunge and Swordfish) both of which were very fresh and excellently cooked.The salads provided with both mains was rather too heavily covered in salad dressing, would recommend you ask for the dressing on the side if you are particular about that.Price-wise was reasonable for the quality, about 50 euro a head including wine.Will definitely go back again and would recommend.
First time here and not disappointed. Very cozy sitting with friendly service and delicious meals. We first had a table outside which is very pleasant for nice summer evening but unfortunately been disturbed by cigarette smoke. We asked the staff to move inside, friendly response with no problem. Inside sitting is also cool with cozy modern decor. Enough space for big group and different cozy corners for small group. Menus are available in both German and English. We (2 friends) had combined 'Vitus' starters to share, and main courses - grilled sea bream and veal steak with pepper sauce. All are delicious. We will certainly go back!
In brief, this place fits any occasion ! I went with my family for a memorable dinner, but there was also couples celebrating, business people discussing and everyone in between. Food was amazing, staff was exceptional ! It is Italian food with flair, I had the duck orange dish and my wife had the truffle ravioli, both were exceptional. I would also recommend the lemon sorbet. I would also think that this place would be exceptional for Christmas dinners. Cozy, lovely and quite memorable.

We tried this restaurant because my husband had seen it on trip advisor. We weren't disappointed. The waiter was very helpful as we have limited german, and he helped us choose. Our food was lovely, the atmosphere was great, although we were a little disappointed not a table in the main restaurant, but we hadn't booked, so the bar was fine. The waiter was playful, helpful and friendly. The wine he helped us choose was delicious. I certainly will return to this restaurant.
I went with good friends and children so i was in a good mood. The carpaccio needed a little extra olive oil - fixed in an instant - but the veal roles were delicious and the accompanying sauce simply gorgeous. The owner recommended a reasonably priced Sicilian red which suited all of us. The decor and atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff were helpful and child friendly. We skipped desert as the kids were getting tired.
Dinner was outstanding. Had the Veal with a Pepper Sauce and Green Asparagus and it was amazing. Atmosphere was great and the waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. Definitely highly recommend it to anyone.
Excellent food and wines, excellent Service and a great environment to enjoy every Minute of your stay. I will always recommend this Hostaria and come back myself.

Lovely evening here with friends. Waiter very helpful with our poor German. Anti pasta platter delicious (and enormous) and various main courses excellent.
