very strange experience in voga last night. I called to make a reservation and was told that there was a table available in 6 or 8, or outside seats were first coming, serving first. When we came to the restaurant, we asked if we could sit outside, but they said that, as we had made a reservation, we could only sit in. while we were disappointed, we agreed to it except I have a odour sensitivity, and the restaurant smells like a cleaning product that influenced my system. I went to the host, told him that I didn't know about the rules and unfortunately I had a reaction on the product and asked if we could sit outside. Missed the half of my order in delivery and this came close to ruining the experience, but the owner (I think really stepped and treated with professionalism and real care. he prepared a full application from the ground on and personally there was at our place (a past from the restaurant I could add). the meal of my wife was one of the best risottos we have ever tried to fill with seafood and taste, and my pfeffersoße veal-carbonara side was just as happy. the food was well packed and came hot, which was surprising in view of the removal. in any case is looking forward to trying it in person next time!
The meal was really excellent but no physical distancing, waitress, waitress wear the mask under the nose, sometimes remove it, customers circulate, enter without a mask, friends enter without a mask, without asking them for their vaccination and kiss the staff. and lighting problem that is low and varies in intensity throughout the evening.
Excellent food, no wonder the place is packed. But despite being crowded got prompt and attentive service, feels as a very well-run place. Noisy. You get a 2-hour slot for your meal, we were reminded we gotta leave and saw people waiting when we were leaving. Book in advance! Will return but rather not on a busy Friday night.
