good management, personal, food drinks. my son and I had half an hour before the pre-durry at 21 o'clock. luke on the theke took our command steak and chips for my son and a senior meal for me. the service was good what my sons commentaries were. both meals were good. the bar staff haley has sorted us with a bourbon and beer. the personal was helpful overall. manager/ concierge courtney came to our table to see if everything in order was helpful to ask with all we had. The restaurant had no staff and I needed to find my own menus. It wasn't clear if they had waiters or if you needed to order at the bar. When I walked to the bar area to order a beer the bar lady was cleaning...stuff and ignored the customers. We stood for maybe 3 4 mins before she acknowledged our presence. I ordered chicken kiev and it came with plain rice AND chips on the same plate. Gordon Ramsey would have had a field day in this place. I had ordered desert but we left without it I couldn't stand being there anymore avoid this place at all costs it was a horrible customer experience probably the worst bistro in the area,
We had business nearby so this was convenient. Booking in required a bond of $100...never had to pay a bond to stay in a Hotel before! Parking was quite limited for guests and quite tight for a large 4WD. Rooms were quite OK and quieter...than we thought they would be. A breakfast pack was given as we checked in the previous night and reception desk wasn 't open until 10:00am. All very 'quirky ' different but no real hassle. Restaurant was noisey but once we attracted the attention of staff, the service was OK. I 'd stay again but only for 1 night and only if I had business in the area!

I'm not sure what happened that day, but the service was a bit slow when it came to ordering and we had to ask for menus. The wait for our meal wasn't too bad, but the taste of the food was a bit underwhelming and bland. The saving grace was the polite and helpful staff. The restaurant has been around for a while, so maybe it was just an off night. There is plenty of parking available and accommodations. There was background music playing and the poker machines were busy.
Went here for a special occasion. We ordered the Scotch Fillet with twisted prawns, Chicken Roast Chicken Schnitzels. All were cooked perfectly had exceptional flavour. Chips were nice fluffy with a light crunch the salads were extremely fresh with a very...tasty dressing. The Toblerone cocktail was also brilliant. Yet another good meal at this venue yet to experience what some reviewers are saying.
Wonderful evening at the Waltzing Matilda. Dinner first in the dining room. I had chicken scallopini with creamy mash and fresh vegetables. It was delicious. We then attended their Nightclub, Love Shack to see Rewind Eighties. What a fabulous band. You just had to get...up and dance to all the 80`s music. Definitely recommended
not many in the dining room, very relaxed and cozy. very friendly we were not very long there, but the service was excellent. suppe was delicious, parma was good, and the roast was also very nice.

I visited a pub that is attached to a motel. I stopped by for a drink, but there wasn't much variety. The beer selection was limited and the atmosphere felt a bit sticky.
Very much agging facilities but clean. Ideal for a one off stay only. Car parking at the rear is very limited and tight.
