I had a root canal retreat done by a specialist I was referred to by West Coast Dental. The specialist said everything went great and I need to go back to my dentist to complete the root canal as he only put a temporary fill. I told West Coast Dental the temporary fill fell out. My tooth was incomplete and needed to be filled per the specialist. West Coast Dental said nothing needs to be done cause the tooth is filled enough. I stated something doesn’t feel right. One thing about me is I hate the dentist no matter how old I am. I've had my fare share with different dentist. And walking in them and they have that strong dentist smell. About a month ago my molar tooth chipped and it was bothering me a lot. My sister made me an appointment. Me thinking it will be in some weeks. Nope. Same day appointment. I took my daughter in for a cleaning, and unfortunately, we found out she has cavities. The dentist informed us that she would need to be referred to an outside specialist and that they couldn't provide the cleaning. However, the office manager later told us that my daughter wouldn't need to go elsewhere and could see their in-house specialist on June 15th. This contradictory information was very unprofessional, especially since my daughter didn't receive her cleaning during this visit. However, the main reason for my review is to highlight the fantastic experience I had with Cher, my dental hygienist. She was incredibly compassionate and considerate of my discomfort, taking into account my limitations due to my anatomy. Cher took the time to explain the reasoning behind various procedures, their costs, and encouraged me to ask questions so I could select the best care plan for myself.
Typically, during a routine exam, you might spend most of your time with the technician, but Cher ensured that I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. Finding a great dental office can be challenging, but based on this experience, I will definitely return.

Bad customer service. No one to talk to for post op indications regarding my daughter's surgery. No one called us to check up on us as if nothing happened and alot did happen! My daughter said she was treated really bad by the Dental assistant during her surgery and they didn't care that they were hurting her even though my daughter let them know as they indicated to notify them if she was in pain to raise her hand and they had NO respect for it! Til this day she cannot open her jaw because it is very painful. Awful service. I called to ask questions and the office told me they were gone and had no answers for me. Til this day no one has called me back.

Front staff very rude and unprofessional. Explanation of work needed seemed exaggerated and excessively expensive. Felt like they cared more about what they can bill my insurance and myself, rather than what is best for my dental needs and health.

I had a wonderful visit. The experience with the dentist and the assistant was great, and the X-ray staff were very attentive and caring. The front desk staff has changed, and they are very polite, as is the billing department. Thank you all!
