"The vegan options are just “ok.” Not great, but at least they have some options. Totally acceptable if your non-vegan friends want to go there. Good, but not great."

Don’t be daunted if you come and see a long line out the door a friend told me you do most of the waiting in the line and that your food comes out right once you find a table, and that was so true! We ordered and our tacos appeared maybe 2 minutes later. I ordered the Thai peanut chicken taco and the jerk chicken taco, both with jackfruit instead of chicken. The Thai peanut was the winner the mango slaw on top was delicious. The jerk taco was good too though! You can replace any meat with jackfruit, which is awesome. Just double check with the person you order from if there are other ingredients on the tacos that need to be changed to make it vegan. (The two I got didn’t; and they have a list right next to them that say which tacos are vegan/what to remove so it makes it a breeze! This location was awesome and after a day of paddle boarding on the river, tacos were a welcome reward.

They had one vegan meat replacement, jackfruit. Which didn't work on any of the tacos I ordered, bulgogi beef and Thai peanut chicken. The kimchi on the bulgogi beef dish was nothing close to kimchi. It's basically a slightly picked radish. And I'm pretty sure all of their sauces have dairy or egg in them. When I got home my stomach felt awful. The only taco that was alright was the banh mi tofu. There's no attention to detail for plant based customers. If they thought about what meat replacement would work for each taco, and made vegan sauces, it could totally work.

I had the Thai chicken with jackfruit, which was just ok. I also had the banh mi tofu (no créma), which was not good (imo). I didn’t even eat the banh mi one. I’m hindsight, I would have just ordered one Thai taco with jackfruit and an order of chips and salsa. Overall, not great, but it worked in a pinch.

I got the Bahi mhi taco and it was nothing more than tofu and slaw on a tortilla. It wasn’t bad and the vibe was very nice. And I appreciated how they were able to handle food allergies and some of my friends picky eating.
