It really pains me to write this review as the white horse has been our go to for the past 10+ years. Today’s the second time in two weeks we have eaten here. The last time in December, I emailed privately with my concerns. I received no reply or acknowledgement to my worries. This time I was hoping for better but sadly it wasn’t better. The restaurant was very busy with 3/4 of the small room big tables, but this shouldn’t change the quality of service. It was very noisy, had to speak very loudly at our table to hear each other, but my main concern was my meal. I explained when I ordered I was gluten free, the waitress recapped this in the order, my roast dinner came with a Yorkshire pudding...
The Sunday dinner needs refining, or maybe because we had it just before kitchen was closing we got dry left overs. Even the little dish with horseradish had skin on it. As all our children are Adults we decided to have Christmas lunch out. The food was excellent a great Atmosphere loads of xmas jumpers an children in sparkly clothes we really did enjoy ourselves thanks to the whole team at the Whitehorse xx Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
What a beautiful place. Absolutely amazing and delicious food, such a lovely inferior and the nicest of staff. After a long and tedious day, the staff were warm and welcoming with a continuously great service. Highly recommended. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
