Smorgasbord on a Sunday eve. Tasteless not a hint of garlic, ginger, 5 spice, etc. in fried rice or chow mein. Don't know why even the soy sauce at the table didn't taste correct. Very greasy overly battered shrimp and chicken balls. Sweet and sour pork dried out and hard to chew. Beef and broccoli no flavor and beef tough. Chop suey veg cooked not too badly, but again, tasteless. Server abrupt at first but loosened up after I engaged her in conversation. Clean. Will give them another chance and order from menu. If same, will never eat there again.

As a long time resident of Chemainus and frequent customer to Wings cafe, I can 100% tell you that the food is great, and service are always consistent and low priced! The chinese food is great, combos as low as $16 for three items, enough to feed two! This place has been around a long time, gone through a few different owners for sure. I'm just ordering up another Chinese food dinner for myself and I know it will be as good as it was a few weeks ago!

I tried this place again after a year. I wanted to see if it had improved. Deep fried prawns dry inside and greasy outside, chow mein mostly noodle and little chicken and tasteless. Lots of choices but just not my idea of tasty Chinese food. More like a MacDonalds type Chinese food place..My opinion is that this is not a place I would suggest to others, but it is the best in town

John made good , hot , food for people who did not appreciate how important he was to the whole DTES . I , Andy was just one of the people who was granted credit from John so we could have something to eat. I will always be Grateful to him for that .If he should ever read this , Thanks again John .I miss seeing you around . Andy from Calgary

We order here about 6 times a year. We have never had a real bad meal. The food is good and the serving size is great for the price. We normally order the 3 piece combo that you can custom make. It is enough for for 2 meals. Ordering there again tonight.

This restaurant is extremely clean! They DO NOT USE MSG....EVER. The combos are huge, feed two no problem and the food has always been fresh and tasty. They also make the absolute best curry sauce. Dinner tonight in fact.

Truly, the worst Chinese food in memory. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I got the combo for one, for takeout. The fried rice was mostly just white rice. Pork was very tough.

Well worth the drive from Ladysmith! Food is always fresh, delicious and great portions!! Service is super from start to finish!! Keep up the awesome job!

I have been eating at wings for 45 yeRs and love it . Best fries and gravy bar none . Curried chicken very good . I will eat there unril I am dead .

The food here is excellent. It's probably one of the best chinese restaurants we've eaten at. Prices are right and huge portions. Highly recommend.
