Yama Seafood La - Reserva de mesa

Best place ever!!! I would go almost every week when I lived nearby. Can be hard to miss but it's a must if you're in the area. Entrance is in the back. Parking is easy, they have their own lot and if full there is plenty of street or nearby lots that are a short walk. The fish is always so fresh. Go early as they will often times sell out by noon. Went around 2pm once and there was nothing left! It's very affordable too. The workers are very nice too! They will give you small bags of ice to keep your fish/sushi cold if you need it. The place itself is very small so it will get crowded in the morning so be prepared for that if you aren't a fan of people being in your personal bubble.

I love Yama Seafood! I found out about it a month ago and have been here numerous times already and told friends about it. The sushi rolls are reasonably priced, soo fresh and delicious, the rice can be refrigerated overnight and still be relatively soft, and there is a great variety of sushi, snacks, even stickers and stationary, dessert. The smell once you walk in is a bit sushi rice scented, not bad but noticeable. There is a parking lot in the back. Would recommend!

I've been coming coming to Yama for over 25 years so this review is long overdue! Long before yelp reviews and way before TikTok Yama has been serving amazing quality sushi/sashimi along side the best service. Yama has changed its looks over the years and they keep adding different variety of snacks and goodies but one thing you can count on is the quality! So glad to see them thrive and continue to grow and serve our community all these years and that speaks volumes!

Parking is a bit weird, but just park in the back parking lot and there will be an open door that you can go through to enter. You get a number, wait for them to call your number, then choose what to buy. They’ll cut it up into sashimi slices, then call your number again for pickup.Go there early to get the best cuts and selection. The yellowtail was just okay, but we loved the chutoro. Yama Seafood is my favorite place to buy sushi-grade fish in LA! Freshest fish around! They're always so nice and cut your fish into sashimi pieces. And they offer ice bags to keep your fish fresh in the way home!!!We got salmon, blue fin tuna, fatty tuna, yellow tail...along with picked cucumbers and seaweed salad. Delicious!!

Little gem of a place for fresh sashimi and sushi. Seafood is always fresh and nicely cut. Favorite spot to pick up sushi to eat at home.It can get busy. Be sure to take a ticket and wait for your number. YAMA also provides party trays. Party trays sushi are sooo good!

Fresh fish. After the management change, they've increased their prices and reduced the size of their nigiri and rolls, but it's still a fair value overall. Convenient parking is an added bonus.

Good for the price. Everything moves fast so it's very fresh. But sometimes can be hard to find parking. Staff is nice, place is clean... Just wish they got more snacks

Best best best place to get sashimi and fresh sushi the seared tuna is the best I ever had.!!!!
