We had a terrible experience yesterday. The place was not kept in a good condition. Light was out. The place was dimmed and not in a good way. We ordered hotpot and had to wait for 40 minutes. Finally, the soup and the frozen meat came out. All low quality. The chicken was cooked sever (instead of freshly cooked in hot pot). The smell was terrible. I am confident that the chicken is just going bad, so they cooked it to cover the bad condition. At the end we went away and paid 100 euros for what they brought out without eating. We just wanted to leave and didn't spend a minute longer. 100 Euro was for 2 small bottles of beer 1 large bottle of water (water glasses are wet) 3 plates frozen meat...
I loved this restaurant! The food was delicious. There were plenty vegan options. We ordered lotus roots (spicy), black funghi, broccoli sauteed with garlic and veggie fried rice. It was all great and tasted authentic. The cost was reasonable (about 40 per person). I can tell it's a family run place. The people are very sweet. They let us bring our dog inside without any fuss. Something that can be improved may be that water was served to us in disposable plastic glasses which is not very eco-friendly. However, I think there was some work going on when we went here (we went here during the holidays), so I think it's a temporary thing. Awesome place. Our dog liked it and we loved it too
Not recommended. Unfortunately, the chicken meat was still raw and the blood was swimming in the sauce. (See picture) If we hadn't paid attention while eating, we would have ended up with serious food poisoning. Although pointing out this issue, the owner did not see any problem with raw chicken due to potential salmonella. First, she blamed the pot, afterward she claimed that the raw chicken are tasty and the well-done cooked chicken is unappetizing. Additionally, the environment at YuXiangYuan, with rubbish in front of customers, was unpleasant. (See picture)
Lovely brother sister duo running this quiet (but large) authentic Chinese restaurant. Plenty of Vegetarian options with Tofu and Vegetable dishes. We tried the tasty Sweet Sour Tofu with rice, and the Spicy Tofu Vegetables with rice. The Spicy Cucumber salad with Garlic was too good as well.

We left after waiting an hour and 15 minutes with no confidence the food would ever come. Tables around us remained covered in used dishes and food. We didn't have the patience to wait for the food. If you can't handle a customer, tell them upfront.
good food, fast service, good prices. definitiw an excellent alternative for the overpriced montreux. the restaurant is also large enough for large groups
