I wish I could rate our visit higher but the staff ruined the mood and entire visit. Having been to Zen nearly 10 years ago with a wonderful experience to look back on, I had high hopes for returning, however the staff were miserable whilst being reasonably attentive, and yet still felt borderline rude. My best friend, his young son, and I arrived at maybe 12:20 for lunch and the entire place was empty except from a party of 3 on one table as the restaurant had just opened at 12 we were acknowledged by two members of staff, one of of which then laid menus etc out on a table and swapped a chair for a high chair for my friend 's toddler to sit in he was on his best behaviour if not a little gr...
My partner, daughter, and I recently had lunch at this restaurant. We each ordered a main noodle dish along with an additional item. While the food was hot and flavorful, I found the prices to be quite high for the portion sizes. For example, I ordered the ribs and received only one rib for £7, which I felt was overpriced. The portion sizes were similar to those of a local takeaway, but the prices were double. The average cost for noodles was around £15. If you're looking for better value for your money, I recommend going to 513 where you can pay a set price and eat until you're full. I likely won't be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Wow What a find The food is outstanding We had duck spring rolls and they were the best ever Mains I had chicken satay and this was out of this world I have never had one so good The staff are very efficient and look after you very well It is a must visit
Great little place to eat. Service and food were fantastic, even the desserts were gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be visiting again. Would advise to book as we did, as within half an hour it was packed.

Great food. Great service. Hadn't booked but able to get table. Great timely service and great food. Good portions and good cooked so well. 100% recommend and would pick this over any of the similar chains in Bury.
The food was incredible, freshly prepared with generous portions. The staff was very friendly and made my birthday feel extra special. I hope to come back soon in the near future.

Delicious food and the consistent quality is why we go regularly. The dishes on menu are all excellent and I recommend for sit in or takeaway!
