Not your average hometown neighborhood bar scene Zinky’s offers traditional pub food and a decent bar with some unexpected twists. They have several TVs to enjoy our favorite sports and Keno is always running. The waitstaff and bartenders are warm friendly as well as efficient, even on the busiest days. It’s a great place to meet up with friends or coworkers to relax unwind to some live music. You might even see people moving from table to table, greeting neighbors catching up on the local gossip. It was off hours so it wasn't very crowded. We were waited on very quickly and the food arrived in a timely manner. Even though it was 2 in the afternoon, we were treated to a live performer and he was pretty good (definitely better than I could do! The only minor negative comment is there aren't many vegetarian options. A veggie burger, black bean tacos would be simple ways to add this kind of choice to the menu. The wait staff kindly worked with us to accommodate us, so all was good!
Who would have thought, DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH, Dalton, MA!!! This place is awesome, food, food quality, drinks, and above all, STAFF. They make you feel welcome AND want you to come back. Casual setting, great pub food, great owners, cute place in beautiful Dalton! They support so many other local establishments and such an important part of the Berkshires.
