Zarouna is really an awesome Lebanese restaurant in South Yarra. Just near to Chapel Street over Toorak Road. The restaurant has a magical atmosphere with candles inside colourful glasses on all the tables. A fireplace makes it more comfy. Now the food... at first glance, we were bit puzzled but ultimately could order a Lebneh dip, Chicken Fateh, Shish Tawouk and Mahalabieh dessert. <br/ The Lebneh dip was not unusual in taste but the snacks they served was good. But the next three dishes was undoubtedly superb. Chicken Fateh is a dish with chick peas in some white sauce and Shish Tawouk is chicken skewers with a beautiful lemony and ginger touch. This Lebanese restaurant is incredible. I have visited a few times and the food is consistently delicious, especially the Lebanese coffee. Some of my favorite appetizers include cheese cigars, Fattoush, tabbouleh, batata hara, and grape leaves. The standout main dishes for me are the Samaka harra and kofta.
We made a reservation for 25 people on a Saturday night. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just right. We all opted for the banquet and the vegetarians in our group were well taken care of. We will definitely return to Zurouna. Thank you for a fantastic evening!
This place has really good food! Fresh, amazing sense aroma and just delicious! I would reckon, the waiters need to be more proactive as they tend to pass by you and not give any attention after calling several times!

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent! We had a fantastic evening with our party of 10. The banquet was very satisfying and the timing between courses was just right.

Visited here on NYE, which could be a reason the service was a little slower. However, the food was superb. Another great accidental Halal find while we were in the area.
